Corpse Pose
- 1 - Begin by lying down on your back. Extend your legs and arms comfortably by your sides.
- 2 - Allow your feet to fall open, with toes naturally pointing outward. Relax your ankles.
- 3 - Let your arms rest alongside your body, a few inches away, with your palms facing up.
- 4 - Allow your shoulders to drop down away from your ears. Find a comfortable position for your arms.
- 5 - Close your eyes gently. Soften your gaze if closing your eyes entirely is uncomfortable.
- 6 - Relax your facial muscles, including your jaw. Release any tension in your forehead and let your face be soft.
- 7 - Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm. Focus on the sensation of each inhale and exhale.
- 8 - Remain in Corpse Pose for at least 5-10 minutes, or longer if desired. Let your body and mind fully relax.
