Epsom Salt Bath
- 1 - You’ll need Epsom salt, a bathtub, and warm water.
- 2 - Read the instructions on the Epsom salt package for the recommended amount. Typically, you’ll use 1-2 cups of Epsom salt for a standard-sized bathtub. Adjust based on your preference.
- 3 - Run warm water into your bathtub. Make sure the water temperature is comfortable, but not too hot.
- 4 - Add the measured Epsom salt to the warm bathwater. Stir the water with your hand to help the salt dissolve.
- 5 - Once the Epsom salt is dissolved, step into the bathtub and immerse yourself. You can sit, lie down, or soak your body as desired. Ensure that the water covers the areas you want to treat, like sore muscles.
- 6 - You can enhance your bath by dimming the lights, playing soothing music, or lighting some candles for a calming atmosphere.
- 7 - Relax in the Epsom salt bath for about 15 to 20 minutes. It’s a good idea to have a book or some entertainment nearby if you’d like to pass the time.
- 8 - After your Epsom salt bath, drain the tub, and rinse your body with clean water to remove any remaining salt. Pat your skin dry with a towel.
