Back Stretch Hold
- Find a sturdy, fixed object or surface, like a vertical pole or a doorway frame.
- Stand with your feet hip-width apart, facing the object.
- Extend your right arm and reach it out to hold onto the object at shoulder height.
- Bend your knees slightly and lean your body backward.
- As you lean back, you should feel a stretch in your lats and along your back.
- Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply and maintaining good posture.
- Slowly return to an upright position.
- Repeat the stretch by reaching out with your left arm and leaning back.
