Band Woodchop
1 - Attach a resistance band to a fixed anchor point above head height.
2 - Grasp the band with both hands, and stand sideways to the anchor point.
3 - Begin with your hands at one side of your body, and arms extended.
4 - Tighten your core muscles to stabilize your torso throughout the movement.
5 - Pull the band diagonally across your body in a chopping motion, rotating your torso. Imagine you are chopping wood.
6 - Rotate your torso and follow through with the movement until your hands are on the opposite side of your body.
7 - Reverse the motion, bringing the band back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
8 - Perform the desired number of repetitions on one side before switching to the other.
