- Begin by setting up the exercise. Find a suitable truck or sled for the pull. The weight of the vehicle can vary but should be challenging for your strength level. Attach a sturdy rope or harness to the front of the vehicle.
- Stand facing the front of the truck with your feet shoulder-width apart. Grip the rope or handle with both hands, starting with one hand over the other.
- To initiate the pull, start with one hand and reach it over the other, pulling the rope or handle toward you. As one hand completes its pull, the other hand should start its pull.
- Maintain an upright posture with your chest up and your back straight. Keep your core engaged and your legs steady. Use your legs to provide additional power and stability by pushing off the ground with each pull.
- Breathe rhythmically to maintain endurance throughout the pull.
- Continue the arm-over-arm motion until you reach a designated finish line or complete the required distance.
- After finishing the pull, carefully release the rope or handle and allow yourself to cool down.
