- 1 - Kneel on the ground with your knees hip-width apart. Use a cushion or yoga mat for comfort if needed.
- 2 - Step your right foot forward, creating a 90-degree angle at your right knee.
- 3 - Your left knee should remain on the ground, and your left toes can be tucked behind you for support.
- 4 - Engage your core muscles and maintain an upright posture.
- 5 - Gently shift your weight forward, leaning into your right hip. You should feel a stretch in your left hip flexor.
- 6 - Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds while taking deep breaths.
- 7 - Gradually return to the starting position.
- 8 - Repeat the stretch with your left foot forward.
