Dumbbell Farmer's Walk
Dumbbell Farmer's Walk
  1. 1 - You’ll need two heavy objects of equal weight, such as dumbbells, kettlebells, or farmer’s walk handles.
  2. 2 - Stand between the two heavy objects, and ensure they’re placed evenly on the ground.
  3. 3 - Bend at the hips and knees to reach down and grip the handles of the heavy objects. Use an overhand grip (palms facing your body).
  4. 4 - Tighten your abdominal muscles to stabilize your spine.
  5. 5 - Lift the heavy objects off the ground and stand up straight. Your shoulders should be pulled back, and your chest should be lifted. Hold the heavy objects at your sides.
  6. 6 - Start walking while maintaining an upright posture. Take small, controlled steps, keeping your core engaged, and your arms relaxed but firmly holding onto the handles.
  7. 7 - Walk a set distance, such as 50 feet, or for a predetermined amount of time.
  8. 8 - Carefully lower the heavy objects back to the ground when you’ve completed the walk.
