Lying Straight-Leg Hamstring Stretch
- 1 - Lie on your back on a comfortable surface, such as a mat.
- 2 - Extend both legs straight along the ground.
- 3 - Keep your back flat against the mat.
- 4 - Lift one leg toward the ceiling, keeping it straight.
- 5 - Hold the back of your thigh or calf with both hands.
- 6 - Keep the opposite leg flat on the ground.
- 7 - Gently pull the raised leg closer to your head until you feel a stretch in your hamstring.
- 8 - Hold the stretch, breathing deeply. Lower the leg back down and switch to the other leg, repeating the stretch.
