Plate Pinch Hold
- 1 - You’ll need two weight plates of the same size with smooth sides (not the kind with handles) and a weight that you can comfortably handle to start.
- 2 - Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- 3 - Take one weight plate in each hand and hold them with your fingers on one side and your thumb on the other. The smooth sides of the plates should be facing outward.
- 4 - Squeeze the plates together as tightly as you can using your fingers and thumbs. Your goal is to pinch the plates together without letting them slip.
- 5 - Maintain the pinch hold for as long as you can. Start with a few seconds and gradually work your way up to longer durations as your grip strength improves.
- 6 - Gently release the plates when you can no longer maintain the pinch hold.
