Quadriceps Lying Stretch
- 1 - Begin by lying face down on a comfortable surface, such as a mat or the floor.
- 2 - Stretch your legs out straight behind you, with your toes pointing downward.
- 3 - Bend your right knee and reach back with your right hand to grasp your right ankle.
- 4 - Gently pull your right ankle towards your buttocks while keeping your knees close together.
- 5 - You should feel a stretch in the front of your right thigh (quadriceps).
- 6 - Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds while taking deep breaths.
- 7 - Release your right leg and return it to the extended position.
- 8 - Repeat the stretch with your left leg, bending the left knee and holding the left ankle with your left hand.
