Machine Seated Calf Raise
- 1 - Start by sitting on the calf raise machine with balls of your feet on the foot platform and the pads resting on top of your thighs.
- 2 - Place your hands on the handles and engage your core muscles.
- 3 - Push the pads up by extending your ankles, raising your heels as high as possible.
- 4 - Hold the peak contraction for a moment, squeezing your calf muscles.
- 5 - Lower the platform back down slowly and in a controlled manner until your heels are slightly below the platform.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of reps.
