Single-Leg Knee Hug Stretch
  1. 1 - Sit up on the floor, or lie down on your back on a comfortable surface, such as a yoga mat.
  2. 2 - Extend your legs fully on the ground (for lying down).
  3. 3 - Bend your right knee and bring it toward your chest.
  4. 4 - Clasp your hands around your right knee, just below your kneecap.
  5. 5 - Gently pull your right knee toward your chest while keeping your left leg extended on the ground.
  6. 6 - You should feel a stretch in your right glute (buttock) and lower back.
  7. 7 - Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds while taking deep breaths.
  8. 8 - Repeat the stretch with your left leg, bending the left knee and pulling it toward your chest.
