Single Knee-to-Chest Stretch
- 1 - Sit up on the floor, or lie down on your back on a comfortable surface, such as a yoga mat.
- 2 - Extend your legs fully on the ground (for lying down).
- 3 - Bend your right knee and bring it toward your chest.
- 4 - Clasp your hands around your right knee, just below your kneecap.
- 5 - Gently pull your right knee toward your chest while keeping your left leg extended on the ground.
- 6 - You should feel a stretch in your right glute (buttock) and lower back.
- 7 - Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds while taking deep breaths.
- 8 - Repeat the stretch with your left leg, bending the left knee and pulling it toward your chest.
